Wonderful service from this family owned business. Had a broken lock and the co-owner Steve helped me replace it with a better quality lock. Dealt with both owners, over two days and they both went above and beyond what was needed to assist me in fixing the problem that I had. I strongly recommend using this business for any locksmith work that is needed. They have been in business since 1977 and I can see why they continue to serve the public.

Sharps Brothers Locksmith has been my locksmith for many years. They are friendly, courteous, professional, and always helpful. Most importantly, every key they have made for me worked! I recently brought to them an old fire extinguisher case with a rusty lock. I had tried and tried to use the key that was supposed to open the lock to no avail. In less than 10 minutes, the Sharps folks unloaded the case, tried my key, put some magic something in the lock. . .and I was on my way. They saved me from buying a new case and charged nothing. They take good care of their customers. . .and they know I will keep coming back for all my locksmith needs!

I've been there twice. Cheaper than larger competitors, faster service, all the keys worked SMOOTHLY in all the different kinds of locks from the get-go. . house door, padlock, business door... so quality was better than I'd experienced at other places too. I "suspiciously" expect that these folks are top notch. Unusual these days; and appreciated.

Great service, extremely friendly, and great prices! Steve worked with me through a three day period when I was fixing my ignition and when it still wasn't working he came to the rescue! Thank you!

Steve recently helped me when I was out of town and accidentally locked out my friend out of my house. She was checking on my cat, so I panicked about how I could get her In. Steve made it easy. He cut a spare and met her to deliver it - all during the craziness of sxsw. I called around a few places before I got to Steve; he was the most helpful and made himself available to meet her schedule during a busy Friday. He was also the most affordable. If I need a locksmith again in the future, I'll definitely go here.

You've probably spent most of your life getting locks and keys made at big franchises. And now, here you are on Yelp, looking for better highly rated services because the big guys have let you down. Stop right here. This is the one! Sharp Brothers is the superior, can't be beat, no job too tough, service you've been looking for. These folks are passionate about what they do. They could describe to you in detail the entire history of lock and key mechanisms. They're good. They're ridiculously good. I'll hand the owner an unmarked key, he'll wince at it, and he'll tell me what it belongs to. It's impressive. Let me tip you off to some of the strange keys I've had copied here: Bobcat Skidsteer various Caterpillar D series super tractors Case Construction master tractor keys John Deer Construction master keys Ford F-150 Nissan Juke Volkswagen Jetta Genie S-Series Manlift JLG SkyTrak 1979 Honda CB 750 motorcycle 1982 Honda Nighthawk motorcycle 2006 Honda CBR 600 crotch rocket Mailbox keys House keys Pad lock keys I've even handed them a lock, to which there is no key, and they'll fashion a key for it. Trust me. You won't stump 'em. They're good! And their prices are fair too.

I own a motorcycle/scooter dealership and occasionally need to help owners who have lost or misplaced their keys. I also have a collection of vintage motorcycles and just like pulling a rabbit out of their hat, they have a key for any of them. I have used Sharp Brothers over 7 years now and I'm amazed and appreciate the professionalism and knowledge they have for getting the job done right.

I own an automotive repair business a few blocks from Sharp's. For a few decades we have used them to make vehicle keys, now including the newer electronic anti-theft keys, used them for the locks on the building and gates, used them to make a service call when needed for the programming of anti-theft electronics on a late model vehicle after we have performed repairs to the system. My man just went there to pick up a late model Honda door lock cylinder that needed repair. Service has ALWAYS been timely, helpful and expert. Don

Bought a front door from the 1920s and Sharp's was the only locksmith in town that could or would tackle the repair on its old, original lock. They came out to the house twice to try different repair strategies, and then asked us to bring it into the shop, where they had specialty equipment. They fixed it, always looking for the most inexpensive way rebuild the lock box. And their charge for all this time and work was under $40. They're great!
